i have just recently replaced my HU and put a sub in my car. i am very pleased with how it sounds and it get plenty loud for me. im sure however there is much better out there.. i am now ready to start replacing the speakers in my car. if i do not plan on running them through a amp will they still sound noticably beeter than the stock speakers? i am looking to spend around 100 dollars per set and have been looking into infinity. what are some suggestions on some speakers? i have 6 1/2s in my front doors and 6x9s in the back.

With your price range, check these out:

6 1/2: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5154_Infinity+Kappa+63.7i.html

6x9: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5024_Infinity+Kappa+692.7i.html

alittle more than $100 but, they should be well worth it

Make sure you take a listen to those Infinity speakers before you buy them, some people love them some don't, they have a distinct sound. As another option in your price range, look into the Polk DB series.

Do not use the Infinity kappa's they are designed to be amped as they are only 2 ohm speakers, most HU's are only 4 ohm capable so your likely to burn out the internal amp
