The box between the seat and the SUB BOX would be about 4 inchs wide... its purpose would be to boost the seat up about 4 inchs so that the bass can travel inside the car better with the subs firing forward, and also prevents them from hitting the seat, the box would have 2 13" cutouts or a tad bigger depending on the outter diameter of the type R i still need to measure. And the top of the box would basically all be wide open, i will only leave about a 1inch lip around the outside so it looks nice still, not like boards going different directions when they meet at the corners.. Also the port would be firing straight backwards in the trunk... I hope the pictures can make what im saying easier to understand...
The question is would this make the bass in the cabin alot better? Also would it affect the tuning of the sub by much and if it did, would it make it lower.. kinda like having a port to close to a rear gate or somthing... and would it be louder then if the subs were firing rear with port rear... in a 2000 neon...
