A friend of mine mentioned using 2 15's and 2 8' subs would provide a wider range of frequencies where i would get the lows from the 15's and more quality and mid lows from the 8's...is this tru..i have 6 12' pioneer subs i was thinking about getting 2 6' nos look alike bazooka tubes..mostly for show

umm....not if he was usin the same amp. it might b alright if he had a separate amp and the 8s were kinda like his mids, and the 15s were his subs.

No 15s with 7's or 8's as midrange would sound very nice and thats along the lines of what glasswolf said, so either take my word for it or take his...

That is what I have considered too, but with a good set of comps I think the midbass should be pretty well taken care of.

better off using one or two large subs, like a 15 or 18 inch, and using two 7" or 8" midbass drivers.

in my car I use two 8" midbass, and a single 15" sub

Cal... I know... did you read what I said...

They did that kinda deal in the 05' GT I had... It came with 2 10s in the back and 8 inch in the front for midbass... If those 10's would hav eonly been 15's...
