Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - 23:24 GMT I am now debating whether I should still get the Fi Q15 w/ a Kicker 1000.1 or if I should just get the Fi SSD15 w/ a Kicker 750.1 I want to get the Q15, but I realized that it will cost a lot more because of the upgrade in charging system I would have to get as well (HO Alt, etc.) Does the SSD15 still compared to the Q15? I don't plan on going to competitions, just listening to it in my car at mid volumes.

Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - 23:33 GMT Go for the SSD. You will be happy with it I think. If it is for your enjoyment, with no upgrades planned, save the money. Just my 2 cents.

Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - 23:41 GMT yeah, I was pretty happy whenever I just had my 2 12" kickers in my Honda Accord running of the zx300.1, but that car rear-ended/totaled. will it be a lot better than the kickers you think? it'll have more than double the power, but less cone-area

Thursday, April 19, 2007 - 01:09 GMT if they were off a 300.1, prolly not awesome no offense. You'll be happy with either sub, and really, unless youre puttin in all new speaks and a new 4 channel, you shouldnt have to upgrade charging. You'll be happy with the SSD, save the money.

Thursday, April 19, 2007 - 01:25 GMT Both great subs, you cant run ~1000 watts without any electrical upgrades on most cars, plus the zx series is pretty efficent.

Thursday, April 19, 2007 - 04:05 GMT Id say that you can on most cars. ZX are solid amps and arent major current hogs. Solid battery, good wires, and Im sure youd be fine... Thanks, Scott

Thursday, April 19, 2007 - 16:52 GMT My alternator is 130 Amps in a Ford Explorer '02. Most people said I can run just the zx1000.1, but I want to get components and I don't think my alternator can handle both zx1000.1 and something like a zx350.2 will SSD15 satisfy my needs of having loud, clear bass in rap music. that people can still feel from a good distance away from the car

Friday, April 20, 2007 - 00:46 GMT doing the Big 3 and putting a yellow top or a kinetic will really help, but not necessary unles you notice voltage drops under 12V, but it is always good to do the Big 3, i will be running the zx1000 tomorrow i will let you know ;)
