My problem is this, the power lines work and they fit in the old factory installed AM/FM casett deck fine, but the speaker wires are cut. I know how to solder so fixing them is not the problem, the problem is this, there are only 5 wires, not 8, i have identified 4 of the wires to be LF, RF, LR and RR + wires, but the last one is not marked and its white. I dont know much about car audio but is that last wire the neg (-) wire for all 4 speakers? it seems a bit odd... but i really want to be able to at least listen to something in my car when i am driving. The stereo works fine, but now the dashboard illumination does not work when the headlights are switched on. I realise now that a snap on connecter would have been ideal. There are a some wires left over, including a power wire (4.5 volts while ignition is off; 10.7 volts when motor is running. Are these the illumination wires? How do I get the dashboard light up again? Thanks for any help Wayne |

New member Username: Jaymp24Post Number: 1 Registered: Aug-06 | i also needed the 93 camry wiring, i see that it's already been posted farther up, but it leaves a couple wires out. theres also a pink/blue wire? also, the "constant 12v+" and the "switched 12v+", what do those connect to? i just bought a new cd player, and the only wires that plug into the camry's stock system are... dash light dimmer switch amp. remote or power antenna memory (with a fuse) ground 12V+ and then all the speakers. new to car wiring and clueless, if anyone could help i'd appreciate it. thanks |

New member Username: Jaymp24Post Number: 2 Registered: Aug-06 | nevermind got it all set, but i have one more problem. the antenna wire from the unit i just bought (says "amp. remote or power antenna") is orange, and is supposed to connect to the camry's black and red wire. did that, made sure it was good and connected, but it still doesnt work. am i missing something? | ||
