im finishing my box soon, but i havent installed my amo yet, can i connect my Fi Q 12" to a Zapco amp that is 500 rms, without hurting either the amo or the sub? i mean because the amp is 500 rms and the sub is 1000 rms

It should still be fine as long as your not running the amp at to low of a ohm load.

the amp is already puching a Cerwin Vega V-max
should i just unplug the sub and plug mine or set the gains again?

depends if u change the ohm load or not... if ur gains r for the same vc then just swap subs
