But the only way to tell for sure is to crank up your system and measure your battery voltage with a DMM. If it drops below 12 volts, you need an HO alternator. |

It depends on the model M.S, optidriven knows a lot about this subject, maybe he can post some good info about that, to clear some minds. Big Dog, try getting a 200A HO alt. From iraggi, nate or any place. Big 3+good batteries and you're done |

Bronze Member Username: Newkid77Columbus, Ohio Post Number: 43 Registered: Mar-07 | I have a new stock alternator right now that puts out 105A.How much does a 200A HO alternator cost ? I have these amps but i can buy new ones but i don't want to spend over $450 though. I need a mono amp that pushes two Pioneer 400 RMS each at 2 ohms. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17388 the 4 chan. I will need at least 100 watts Rms at 4 ohms and 1000 peak watts. If anyone has any suggestions about improving my curent amp, it would be great. |
