Sunday, April 15, 2007 - 05:54 GMT Well, as I've decided on different subs now, with that comes a different amp Fun. So far, I've come up with this list: - Diamond Audio D3 800.1 - Autotek MM1000.1 - Sundown SAE-1000D - Clarion DPX1800 The Sundown is looking nice, as I can get it for $325 shipped to my door, I believe it is the cheapest of the bunch. Any others that should be added to that list? It will be powering 2 10" RD Audio Studios @ 1 ohm.

Sunday, April 15, 2007 - 21:23 GMT I don't really like any of those choices...... I would recommend a Cadence DCA1000, Kicker zx1000, JL 1000/1, or RF t10001bd

Sunday, April 15, 2007 - 21:39 GMT MS, as for your suggestions, I like the Cadence. The kicker is only stable at 2 ohm, JL at 1.5( or 1 ohm be okay ?), and I like the rockford. Problem with all 4 of those, they aren't very cheap Cost goes up like exponentially for me because of brokerage/customs and shipping. Thanks for the suggestions though, the Sundown is lookin good.

Monday, April 16, 2007 - 00:35 GMT you can always just run your subs at 4 ohms on the JL 1000/1 if theyre dual 4 ohm. dont bother running em at 1 ohm.

Monday, April 16, 2007 - 01:30 GMT Well, if you need cheaper and 1 ohm stable another option would be a Massive Audio P1000.1

Monday, April 16, 2007 - 01:42 GMT Cal and M.S. both are right I'm tryin to work somethin out with Showrides right now. JL 1000/1 will cost me ~$1000 online after it gets to my door.

Monday, April 16, 2007 - 21:46 GMT jw, what would it cost ya before customs, etc? Also, im not sure, im gonna guess maybe youre gonna be payin 800-850 before customs what not (correct me if im wrong) and to tell you the truth the JL is a GREAT amp, do not get me wrong, possibly the best amp out there rated at 1000 rms....BUT if you are on some kind of budget, look into the Diamond or the Sundown, i've heard amazing reviews on both companies. You'll save some money and theyre pretty badass amps, but then again the JL Audios flagship amp and you'll be very happy with it.
