I first heard of breaking in subs a ll while ago, but I dont get it. First I heard that you play your subs at low gain, then I heard to play them at low vloume, AND then I heard just play them as usual and eventually they will sound better and better! Which is it?

If your sub has any quality to it at all, why does it have to played at low volumes? I just let mine rip, it does get louder after about 3 weeks.

most subs will start to sound better as all of the soft parts get broken in.

but as far as precautions everyone will say something different.

i personally think you should keep from murdering the block for a few days but i cant ever help from cranking on the volume the first day i install a new sub, at least once...
