Hi everyone. I have a 1963 Ford Falcon that I purchased this past summer. It came with a kdc-mp228 wired in the glove compartment. I added a pair of 6 X 9's in the back. Also some 4 inch speakers up front. A 4 channel Performance Tekniques amp and a 1 Farad capacitor. Also a 10" bazzoka in a sealed box. Everyhting was working fine. I put the car away for winter. I live in Minnesota. It is starting to get nice out so I go to our shed to charge up the car and fire it up. Everything fires up except the radio. Fuses are good. Ground is good. I checked with a test light on the wire clip behind the radio and all the power is there. The radio will not turn on. Nothing. Nada. I called kenwood and they told me to reset it. Nothing. They told me to take it and bench test it, so I did. It still does not light up. Is my head unit toast? Any help would be appreciated. Spring has sprung and I am not ready to go cruising with no tunes!!!
