cheapest for the kicker or orion would probably be ebay. for the ed you buy direct, about $320-330 shipped. can also check out caraudio.com for sale section, you'll probably find one. personally i like kicker the best, not sure if it'll be to much for it though since it'll probably do closer to about 1800-1900wrms. i'd ask scott on that one. here's some online stores to check:
www.woofersetc.com
www.onlinecarstereo.com
www.hifisoundconnection.com
www.sonicelectronix.com
www.mainstreet-audio.com
www.uscaraudio.com
www.electronicexpress.com

How about a Sundown SAZ-1500D. For $450 shipped it is a real solid amp.

Just set the gains correctly and that isn't a problem. Not to mention as far as Class D amps go the Sundown is very efficient.

Well if this site worked, it wouldn't be a problem. Whenever I post it says there is an error and to contact an admin. And then I try to post again and it posts twice. They need to work on that.

109 amp alternator with the big 3, would be able to run a 1500D. I have a stock 130 amp alternator with no other upgrades and it worked fine.

Just set the gains to put out around 1200rms and you will be fine.

Caraudio.com has a great tutorial as well. Setting gains on an amp in crictical though. Make sure to do it, and to do it correctly. It isn't hard to do either if you can follow directions and have a DMM.

digital mutli meter (dmm) can be bought just about everywhere (lowes, home depot, sears, radio shack) from about $20 up.

here's a pretty quick vid on gain setting:

if you don't know what your doing i'd take it somewhere that does for sure. don't want to spend money only to ruin your shi_t. just make sure you trust the place doing it.
