i am running a stock electrical system with 1/0 gauge wire EVERYWHERE, 1 concept cd-2410 at 1 ohm, and in a low-tuned t-line enclosure designed by team toxic bass, in a grand cherokee. it is geared mainly for SQ, i knew 2 18"s were going to be at least a little bit loud, no matter what.
well, im not much of a competing person myself but from my experience it feels like a 143-144 right now, roughly comparing it to vehicles that i know the SPL numbers of.
in short, if they are in a larger box with alot more port area and alot more power they should do alot more damage. the box they are in right now is still very loud but sounds so so good. i can actually do some pretty decent shirt tricks (shirt hanging in the window). i never thought i would be out there hanging shirts in my window but thats where the internet gets ya...
i just got a memphis mojo mc2000d for them, building a much larger box when i get off my lazy @$$ and need to pick up a HO alt and two yellow tops.
not my first choice in battery, but i really like the way they look and all the various lids to stuff under my head are all yellow from the factory which will match nicely.
anyway, yeah, they rock. i have no intention of upgrading my subwoofers at anytime soon.
wheres all that noise coming from? from those little guys?
there is an invisible double baffle that will make the height come to 24.75, just to the top of the backseat headrests. i dont like the idea of that big of a box, i really like where they are but i gotta hear them in a big loud box...
