Post Number: 2135 Registered: Mar-06 | 6.5's are runnning at 8ohm if i see that right, with 4 sets, the only way to run them at 4ohm is having them wired how they are but connect the + out put from the amp to both +, you need series on each speaker for 2 of them, the same for the other 2, then put the 2 in parallel. |

Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 11835 Registered: Dec-03 | that's having two 4-ohm speakers in parallel on each channel. that's a 2 ohm load. you can't wire 4 4-ohm speakers to two amplifier channels and get a 4 ohm load. if your amplifier is rated for 50 watts per channel @ 4 ohms, the above diagram will have each 6/5" speaker getting 50 watts, so the amp will be putting out 100 watts (2 ohms) per channel total |
