When I asked if I could have a bamboo cone, Steve from Digital Designs said, 'Sure!' I then proceeded to ramble off a list of different types of wood and he stopped me. 'If you want it and can find it, we can make it.' Digital Designs made more than a few people do a double-take while they were displaying their new laser cut custom cones at SBN this past weekend. They had numerous different wood, kevlar, carbon fiber, and glow in the dark combinations. The pricing is job specific, but a rough estimate on a nice airbrushed wood grain and polished cone was around $1,000 in addition to the cost of the driver. I have to admit that the polished wood cone was absolutely beautiful in person and would look damn nice in a house let alone a car. Steve from DD confirmed that they can indeed add any material you want to the cones or paint them to match any interior. Ostrich skin, diamonds, etc., they can do it. DD is also offering gold leaf logos on the drivers as well. |
