I hope you have Comprehensive on your insurance, that's what covers this type of thing.

i don't knbow, it is up to every insurance company because my dude got his stuff stolen and he had like 2 mtx subs and a rockford "900 watt amp" (the 301s one) and he dind't have insurance on anythin gbut his insurance bought him a brand new rockford P6002, which is about double the power of that 301s, so i'd just defiantly contact your insurance company, i know when i have my stuff hooked up i always have it up when i go to pay my insurance and they always ask me waht that noise is, so i mean at least they knwo i have it

call your insurance company and ask.
it varies by company as well as your coverage.
if you have full coverage, and a rider to cover the audio system (required by most companies) along with proof of ownership for the gear, they'll cover the glass, the equipment, and installation costs.

First off, NO aftermarket car audio things are insured just because you have auto insurance... atleast in any case i have seen. You have to get extra insurance for this, so if you didnt have it... have fun. And for proof of equiptment you will need either reciepts or pictures of it all, also you would need to show that it was all bolted down securly to your ride. <-----Pretty much what i heard from any insurance company i talked to... and few people on here...

IF the car is in the driveway sometimes you are able to claim it under homeowners insurance.
