Monday, March 26, 2007 - 23:52 GMT I have a SD2 12" sub getting 500watts ( i dont no the rms rating). It will be used as a home subwoofer and im tuning it to 40hz. How many cubic feet should my box be befor sub and vent displacment. also how many sq inches of port should i have. thanks.

Tuesday, March 27, 2007 - 14:34 GMT Tune it to around 35 Hz. If you tune any lower you will lose upper bass extension. Increase the port length to 20".
