So I picked up my 2 12" Fi X's in a sealed box for $150. I hook them up to my friends kicker 1000.1 and wow, the guy who I bough them from totally tried to scam me. Luckily the problems were fixable; the terminals on the subs where broken and acting as a ground causing the subs not to hit. It's amazing how far two pieces of electrical tape can fix. All I need now is a good amp. What to get? I've been told that they max at 600w a sub-unshure? also in mind-i want to eventualy upgrade to a Q15. thxs
yeah its dual 4 i'm the guy with the 1000.1 kicker amp =) and when we took em out of the box they were dual 4. but your subs max at 600. doesn't mean you need an amp that would rms them at that. save you some money
