You're gonna have to drill man. I don't think you really have much of a choice.

unless you run it under the car, drilling through the firewall would be the only other choice i can think of... doing that is not too big a deal

If you have enough wire to run it under your car, do it this way. then use a grommet for when you make a hole in the trunk area. The grommet helps keep water out and also protects the wire from getting sliced by the chassis.

I ran two runs of 0awg under my car. Unfortunately I found out about the grommet about a month later. The grommet will seal it up well, and you can still use the grommet for the firewall. just do that, fashoness.

Listen up! Follow the wire loom that goes from the engine compartment to inside. Look along the firewall you will see a large bunch of wires going into the wirewall. Well this goes into a large gromett/rubber boot. Take a knife and cut a dime sized hole in it. Now lightly spray the end of the 0ga with water along with the rubber with a spray bottle. Stick the 0ga in through that hole keep pushing until it stops then start searching for it under the dash. Now that you got that far removed the carpet trim from the right side (passenger) trim that runs along the side of the floorboard you will run the wire under it to hide. Keep wetting the cable as you pull it through, the rubber boot will protect it from the elements as long as the hole isn't too big. Keep us posted...Polo. :-)

9 of 10 times in a install u have 2 drill a new hole when installing 0g wire

if u dont have a grommet u can use a little piece of dynamat as a grommet & then use a bigger piece as a seal ,works well in my ride .....

some cars u get lucky when manufacturers leave a spare hole with a rubber seal u can just pop off & use but thats a very rare find

i personally dont like cutting into the big wire harness rubber thingy i rather drill a hole which takes like 5mins no problemo .....

I ran mine down under the car and drilled a hole in the floor board on the drivers side. It was right next to the trim so I ran it under the carpet for 2 inches then it went right under the trim all the way back to the trunk.

I ran all 10 runs through a huge hole i hacked under the rear seat. They, apparently, dont look under the car much for trade in.
