I am wondering if this is the correct wiring. I ask because I am not directly connecting each sub to the amp..the one sub is indirectly wired.
Surprisingly, this is not an actual photo of the subs. I had to draw them by hand.

Well then I guess I dont understand. I had 2 SS Rl-P 12s 750wrms a piece 2ohmDVC wired at 2 ohms. My infinity amp puts out 1300wrms at 2 ohms. Then I decided to wire one of the subs by itself and it put out a 4ohm load which my amp puts out 854 at 4ohms. My single sub alone sounded better in both SPL and SQ than when there were 2. WTF..??

Yes that would make a 2 ohm load.

But make the double connection at the amp, not at one set of terminals on the box. The way you have it, twice as much current has to flow through the wires between the amp and the double connection. The wire may not be heavy enough gauge.

So that would cause 1 to sound better than 2?

No it wouldn't. Can you draw another diagram like that and show us how you wired your 1 sub?
