New member Username: SexybrentyPost Number: 6 Registered: Mar-07 | so doing some research on some ohm stuff i have no idea about, i found out my rockford fosgate 450.2 amp has this: RMS Power Output: 4 Ohms: 100 watts x 2 chan. 2 Ohms: 225 watts x 2 chan. 4 Ohms Bridged: 450 watts x 1 chan. And my sub is a pioneer and it has 800 watt max power with 4 ohms, does this mean my sub is too powerful for my amp |

If you bridge the amp it will almost surely blow. are you sure the max is 800 and the rms is 150? marketing gimmicks, eh... usually the rms is at least near half the max..... |
