The reason is that I know we'll NEVER get an amp for this van and probably can't spend barely even $50 max (maybe 70 if lucky). Maybe it'd be better to just get a 6.5" midbass driver to put in the hole that's there now. I just want to get more bass really out of it and hoped more sensitive speaks could get more bass out of the 12 year old stock HU? Maybe I could get to $60 max or so...seriously limited budget. Is it possible to have like 100dB sensitivity with bass? Is there a pair that would just plain increase bass response down below 100hz so I can actually hear a little bass? I'm sure if I could add 200w of power to each channel and hide an amp inside the trunk door with cooling and fit one of these in each 6x9 hole I could get enough bass for comments on a stock system with a lot of bass..http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4776 But anyway, realistically, what's out there that can improve upon the factory speakers in bass response with the same power? |
