HO alternator dealers?

And don't fall for their "we can rebuild your stock alt to do (insert really high amperage here) number of amps" crap. Most of those shops don't know WTF they're talking about. If you need an HO alternator, Ohio Generator are among the best out there: http://www.ohiogen.com/ Iraggi alts are also good: http://stores.ebay.com/Iraggi-Alternator-and-Electronics Also remember to look at the idle amperage rating when shopping for a HO alt, it is important. If a company won't tell you how many amps their alt does at idle, don't buy it. |

Have to admit it finally died after a couple years of use, but since it was built in a stock housing I just put the original back in. However, the prices here are very reasonable and when informed of the problem they offered to fix the thing np. I just never got around to sending it in as the stock alternator did just fine with the power I was utilizing. -Fishy |

That wasn't very clear Oleg.I've heard just as many bad things about Excessive amperage as good things and in my eyes that isn't good enough.I've never heard of problems with Iraggi Alts and that's what I run and there's great customer service from Iraggi.Dominick's a cool guy too. |

I don't think Iraggi is cheaper than EA, so pricewise they're at least the most competetive. I have not heard anyone say Nate didn't respond to emails though. But I am talking from my own experience - perhaps he gave me great CS and shytty to others. |
