I have a 1995 Impala SS, factory alternator is 105 amps I have 1 kenwood amp on highs and mids with 1 30 fuse then I was gonna go with either a kicker 2500 or 2 cadence m7000 which are 1000w rms apiece can I just do the big 3 or must I upgrade to a 200 amp alternator to get full power? will i even get full power with more amps to spare wit a 200 amp alternator or do i need more than 200 amps? my subs will be 2 S15L7's in ported box at 38 Hz

You will definitely need an HO alt when running 2000w RMS.

200 amps is the smallest you would want to use when running that amount of power, but more is always better.

1 my potnas said when he put a HO Alt the music didn't hit any harder just stopped the lights from dimming. Then I said whats the point of putting a HO Alt if its not gonna put more juice to subs and amp? Just get 1 optima yellow top and 0 gauge wires with 0 gauge big 3
