Right now, i have four Infinity Kappa Coaxials off a Kicker 350.4. I love em and they sound awesome. But on some songs like a lot of the red hot chili peppers songs like otherside and scar tissue (mostly older style RHCP and others) the guitar sounds horrible at high volumes. At low volumes (were talking about 21/62 on a premier HU) it sounds great, but at high volumes I don't know how to describe other than saying that it doesnt sound clean at all and the speakers always blur S's in every song, whether its rap or rock. SOOOOOO......I want to upgrade to maybe some cdt's or a/d/s's. I was initially thinking keeping the four Kappas and gettin a new pair of comps for the front and buying a new Kicker like maybe 350.2 or a 650.2 or bigger to power the comps. Should i do that or scrap my current setup, get like a Kicker ZX 850.4 or 650.4 and get sweet front comps and decent rear coaxials (I can only put coax's in the rear.) Will spending 600 bucks or more be worth THAT loud of speakers considering that would be my max budget on a good day (im 17) but yea, lemme know what you guys think, open to maybe some decent diamond s600s or seomthing. Let me know about some loud a** speakers for around 150-175 maybe 200 for front comps and then 150-200 for rear coaxials (if they even make rear coaxials that nice/loud) (Kicker zx850.4 is 175watts x 4 at 4 ohms |
