New member Username: ArcticfirePost Number: 1 Registered: Mar-07 | Hello all. Im somewhat new to car audio and looking for suggestions. My head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P6600 The amp i purchased is an Alpine MRP-M650 The sub is an Alpine SWR-1242D Which is in the back of my ext. cab sierra. I currently have the back seat up and the sub is pointed towards the roof. Its running from the stock alt and the stock battery. When i turn up the music in my truck the lights dim. Would it be better to get a new alt, battery, or cap? Im looking for a solution which is around the price range of 200. Also did i buy the correct amp for my sub? |

Ohio Generator are excellent quality alts, but they are very expensive. For a good quality alt I recommend Iraggi: http://stores.ebay.com/Iraggi-Alternator-and-Electronics |

Remember to upgrade the big 3 when you install your new alternator, a big alt with small wire won't do any good: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?TID=73496&PN=1 |
