check all the stuff on ur amp nto jsut ur gain cause i have a little knob on mine to turn it and if its down they bump a lil but if its up they bump for real
this is a very hard thing to help with being that we are not there. if you mean barely makes noise like you have to stick your ear up to the cone to hear it then the subwoofer output might be turned off on the HU. (the rcas can still pick up noise and make the sub play it though) but if you hear it from your driver seat then that is not it.
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! I tried to get an answer to the exact same thing about a week and a half ago. My car is in the shop, so i havent even been able to figure out what it is, but if you find out..plz let me know. Btw, what kind of HU are you using?
it is... but you dont knwo exactly what the preout voltage is (it may say 4V but it might not be) and the amps setting arent very specific. if you use a dmm and set it that way, that is matching the Hu to the amp.
Of course they're not hitting! Your amp can't push them hard enough! Just get a few hundred trillion watts on them and the drivers should be hitting everything in the car!
do u even want to mention an amp name? Your might of fryed your inputs? Try new rcas...are your rca's bent around the edge at all? THe wire inside the rca heads breaks easy
I had a brand new SX1250.1 and mine still werent hitting. I just got myt TB1000 in today so i will hook it up as soon as i get my car back. I think im gonna run a new set of rca's though, and see if that solves the problem. BTW the RF:Power series is rediculous. Why underrate all of their amsp soo much? On by 1000 the birthsheet says 1617rms..lol
