Hi there i am running a sound system that consists of 1 sub (1600w), 6x9's (600w) and 2 amps not 100% sure of stats. Also running a single din flip out DVD player/ monitor.
My problem lies with my inverter which is 300w continues, 600w peak. What happens is it plays for a couple of minutes then shuts off with the inverter makin a continues sirren (not load). At the moment im running a 4AWG wire from my battery into my boot where i have a splitter which can split into 4 8AWG. I am using 2 of the 8AWG holes to run my 2 amps and i am using a 3rd to plug the posotive of my inverter into. I havent uprated the power wire on the inverter so it is a pretty fin wire.
What i would like to know is will there be enough power from the 3 power wires that have split to power my xbox? And also should i uprate the ground and power wires to the inverter?
