Monday, March 05, 2007 - 03:01 GMT canaan explained this to me awhile back. even though you may wire a dual 2ohm sub in parallel to a 1ohm load, the box rise will make it more than 1ohm. the bigger the box, the more impedence rise there will be. so your amp will put out less power.
