Saturday, March 03, 2007 - 01:01 GMT ok so your saying there is no point me trying to save what little sound quality they have by getting a sealed box I should jus get a ported box for them.

Saturday, March 03, 2007 - 01:45 GMT no rattling comes from high SPL wich means sound preasure level so theres so much preasure in the car that the air being released from the sub and port makes the car rattle has nothing to do with the sound quality

Saturday, March 03, 2007 - 02:14 GMT sound quality to me is how clean the sub plays a range of bass notes like 25 to 60hz.my L5(ported) plays 35 to 40 hz well in rap music.anything out of that range like dance or rock, its terrible.just sounds like someone locked in a trunk banging to get out.not good at all.I ll be hooking my 2.5 AQ up sunday and im sure it ll blow that L5 out of the water.so it just depends what youre after.if you like slow low bass like 3-6-mafia late nite tip,the kix should be good, other than that keep lookin.

Saturday, March 03, 2007 - 03:03 GMT to me a good sq sub is a sub that plays the rock or trance music well. all subs sound half way decent when playing rap but its a real challenge for a sub to play all those bass guitar lines or in the case on trance, low keyboard notes.

Saturday, March 03, 2007 - 04:16 GMT What is the price? It's gonna be hard to find something good quality that will be as loud as the L7s.... they are cheap for a reason.
