Silver Member Username: Rustysurfer916Oviedo, FL Post Number: 382 Registered: Mar-06 | 2 12 W6's is what ill have with the alpine PDX 1.1000. and the 10 W7s are 500 RMS. i dont think its a great idea to put double the power to it. i would just put another 10 W7 or upgrade to a 13 W7. dont know what kind of music you listen to though. |

Silver Member Username: Razzeldazzel06Post Number: 263 Registered: Jan-07 | theyd didnt have another amp in stock and they one i wanted was backordered...so they gave me a good deal on the alpine and they said they would tune it down so it would be exactly like the other amp...i want like 500-600 watts coming out of it...eventually i might get another 10w7..or trade up to two 12's..i dont know yet...ialso got the clarion hu and nav system to run everything |

Silver Member Username: Rustysurfer916Oviedo, FL Post Number: 386 Registered: Mar-06 | that amps stable at 2 and 4 ohms with 1000 watts. voice coils dont matter unless you runnin more or less than that. if you traided up for 2 12 W7s on just that one amp, it would probably be louder with 2 12 W6s. i would just traid up for the 2 10 w7s, 2 12 w6s, or 1 13 w7 |

Silver Member Username: Razzeldazzel06Post Number: 264 Registered: Jan-07 | they gave me a brand new alpine pdx 1000.1 for $499....they said because they ddint have the right amp for my particular sub in stock..i wnated apdx 600...so they gave that amp to me for that price plus a 2 year warranty and said they would tune it for me the ebst they could..i think i made out pretty well..im the installers that are doing my stuff built the car on pioneer.com for the sema show..its a red scion |

You're lucky they weren't total f!cksticks and that you ended up with a fairly decent setup. |
