Wednesday, February 28, 2007 - 00:16 GMT i just got done listening to my subs and i was wondering if its normal for the dustcap to get warm, not hot, but warm the cone nor the surround is warm so i was wondering what signs should i look for to see if the sub has reached full potential, i know what it sounds like but i was wandering what the aftermath should look like? and if the coil is starting to smell is that an indicator?

Wednesday, February 28, 2007 - 04:33 GMT Yeah. I would almost 100% its the glue if you say it only smells by the box and smells like rubber.
