Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 863 Registered: Apr-06 | m.s. beat me to it..... whats ur budget for ur install...if ur serious about hitting that # with that setup u might wanna look into some edead or other soud deadening material and maybe even spending some extra cash to have a spl box built from someone who really knows what they are doing |

New member Username: ChrsschbPost Number: 10 Registered: Feb-07 | It's possible (especially in a hatch). The only thing I hit with a pioneer premier was a roasted coil though. I owned that sub for a total of 5 minutes and blew it with 480 watts. Switched to a RIPhammer 12 and life was good =) |

Bronze Member Username: ChrsschbPost Number: 11 Registered: Feb-07 | That's what I was thinking. The guys at the car audio store were pretty amazed (it was their sub, and ultimately their money). I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for it. We had the premier paired with a bostwick 250.2 amp (480@4) in a 3 cu. ft. box tuned @ 35 hz. |
