Thursday, February 22, 2007 - 13:37 GMT wont that get reallly hot quick? if i remember right those are like 3x strong then a normal magnet.... really sensitive sub with the motor that big made out of neo...... sub would blow to sh!t lol well atleast it prolly would with the power most people would give em.. but i was about to mention somthing about cooling anyways.. The 95/9900 models have 26 machined vents in the motor to direct cooling air to the voice coil. DD's Free Flow Cooling System effectively turns every speaker into an air pump, the harder the speaker is driven, the more air is pumped to the coil. Pretty cool, huh. -from DD website 26 holes...does this thing get hot at all? Im lookin at 3Krms wondering if it will get hot.

I believe all DD needs to be able to upgrade\recone a sub is the motor. They will put a new basket and softparts in for whatever so im sure it can get done.. do they have 18s now? i didnt see it... i think you may of meant 15's. or maybe a 9918?
