my subs can do a hair trick i have the mtx audio 9500 2 10's in ported tuned to 40 HZ i have the port facing the middle between the front 2 seats of my cobalt and as i play a song a good bass one i feel lots of air blowing at me almost as if it was windy iam not kidding my port gives out that much air iam gona keep it like that for a soundoff heh having air blowing at the mic lol heres a pic
but how does it sound? does it sound better with the port turned the otherway?my ports have always sounded better when they have someting to bounce off of,like the back of the trunk or side firing in my truck.
they sounded alot better that way i had them facing the back before all it did was rattle the trunk and gave out no bass lol i think myx subs were designed to face forward unless it was my box that was designed to face forward
