OT - Alt. whine with Alt. OFF

Post Number: 1380 Registered: Mar-06 | I had some issues with my mids\highs whining with the car off but radio on and i thought i could rule out it having anything to do with the alt. (H\O) but since it was giving me voltage issues..spiking like crazy.. i think the regulator is going out.. so i put the stock back in there and guess what the mids\highs are crystal clear again  i guess i learned somthing new.. you can get feeedback from your alternator even with it off... thats pretty gey huh?.... Anyone have any experience with Excessive amperage H\O's im going to be getting a 300A and was just wondering if they give you any feedback at all, i heard some people mention a while back that almost any H\O will give you feedback.. but this one didnt until it started giving me these issues so i am in debate about that. |

Gold Member Username: Th3pwn3rChicago, Illinois U.S.A Post Number: 1020 Registered: Jul-06 | Don't get Excessive amperage alts.I've heard way too many people saying that they don't put out rated amperage and have had lots of problems with them.Go with Iraggi alts and you'll be good to go.Iceberg makes good alternators as well for a little less money than Iraggi. |
