Gold Member Username: Van_manBoston South, MA Post Number: 1938 Registered: Mar-06 | I would take the Kenwood. That is the Flagship 25 anniversary one. Lots of tunability. The Kenwood Excelon serier are decent amps. They perform well. It is still in the entry level as far as amps go, but would choose it over Hifonics, PG, Eclipse, Alpine, Ect. And CEA ratings are close to 900 at 2 Ohms, so its probly closer to 1200 at 1 ohm. I have a X811d, And I have run it with many set ups. The ratings are very flexible. Works with many sub combos.  |

RMS Power (1 ohm) 1200 watts x 1 chan. Kenwood RMS Power (4 ohms) 533 watts x 1 chan. RMS Power (2 ohms) 919 watts x 1 chan. RMS Power (1 ohm) 1116 watts x 1 chan. Pretty much the same as far as output specs, But again I would choose Kenwood for its tuning features. |
