I Was able to hear a boss blade extreme 4000 watt amp the other day,and it was hammering!? True it was not the cleanest sounding amp, but darn did it drop , and i mean it dropped hard. It was on two hifonics atlas square subs. So why does every body say that boss sucks? The guy who had this set up claimed that the amp barely gets warm. I even went to the user reviews here on ecoustics, only boss and a couple others have almost perfect user scores, as far as amps go. Is there something i dont know?
Boss blade Extreme line put some power, they have a model 1/2 stable. The problem is durability. For the amount you pay, you can get something more reliable.
They are incorporating cooling fans in their amps. They're bad, but you can get some power out of their high end line.
I used to own a boss amp before I knew anything. I thought that it was a good amp and pushed out a lot of power. It only worked for about a year and then would only work when it wanted to finally I said enough and just got rid of it.
when ur a newb or casual listener who doesnt study his audio & just want something to bump &\or accustomed to using low priced\low quality brands - then Boss may seem like a good product but when u step up u will be saying "man i used to used that P.O.S back then !" ......
Exactly Rovin. I had nothing to compare it against so I thought that it was a great amp. Haha I wish I still had all the money I wasted on crappy car audio products.
