My friend wants me to come up with a system and install it on his 2003 single cab chevy. His budget is around $1500 for everything. I'll be building the box and and wiring everything up.

I was thinking of going with this:

A 10" Audioque SD 2.5.

A kicker zx750.1 amp for the sub.

Alpine Type R for components.

A kicker zx350.2 for the components.

The head unit will be a Pioneer premier 780.

Everything comes out to about $1300 the rest will be used for wiring and materials and all things needed.

How do you think this will sound? Any suggestions are welcome.

he said he's only getting one sub so that 750.1 would be perfect. and if you didn't know, kicker underrates their amps quite a bit. i have never seen a 750.1 birthsheet saying less than 900wrms.

I hope it sounds good, the only thing that's bothering me is the port area. Will it be all right if I used one 4" aero port instead of two or more?
