KICKER 12' comp or ALPINE type-E????

Bronze Member Username: Makavelie187Concord, California Usa Post Number: 52 Registered: Mar-05 | I have the option to have 2 kicker comp 12s (they are the lowest end sub they offer) 150rms 300 max in a ported box or i can get 2 ALPINE type-Es 12' as well in a ported box, rms is 350 i believe and max is 700 for each type-e keep in mind i can get these for the same price so which one is better.In my experience i would probaly go with alpine because they can handle more power but i want a second opintion before i make my decision. thanks |

Silver Member Username: Gibson5469Post Number: 110 Registered: Jul-05 | I love my 12" kicker comp. It sounds really nice in a 2 cubic foot box, with a port tuned to 40hz. If it had a real amp powering it (not a sony amp) I bet it would sound alot better too. |
