Battery Upgrade Suggestions

Sorry this isn't in the accessories section, but no one looks at that. But here's my situation, or the situation I'd like to be in by summer. I'll have a ZX1000.1 pushin 3 subs and a ZX350.4 pushin some speaks and possbily a second ZX350.4/2. I wanna know which would be better, buying a new kinetik battery (replace starting battery under hood) and what size (1800,2400) or upgrading from my stock 124 to like a 200 amp alternator. If it matters, I live in Cleveland, its 0 degrees right now but in July it can hit 90, so i need a reliable batt, and I don't want a second battery, I only want to replace the starting one if that would be better... |

Silver Member Username: Nd4spd18Post Number: 276 Registered: Jul-06 | Alt is more important. When you car is running the alternator supplies all of the power. When your system draws for power than the alt can produce, it starts to draw from the battery. That's bad for your alternator. |
