Sunday, February 04, 2007 - 14:52 GMT ok, this is my thing...my old Pioneer Deck doesn't have any sub controls, so it's not like I can turn the bass down from the HU, without turning the HU off, so that's why I would need the bass knob, just until I get a new HU, which is very soon...trying to be patient with Pioneer for the their new line!

Sunday, February 04, 2007 - 14:56 GMT trell even if you have the bass knob connected, you want to keep that thing down all the way. when you want a little more bass, you should turn it up. adjust the gain correctly and match the speaker volumes to blen with the sub nicely and you never have to touch any setting again. you want natural sound as much as possible. at least that is how i like to listen. if you want more control of your bass, i suggest you get an epicenter or something similiar.
