I remember reading somewhere that there will be less noise and you'll get a cleaner sound with higher volt preouts. I believe my current Premier is 4 or 5 volt preouts and I was lookin to maybe get an AVH5700 and it has 2.2V preouts....WOuld I hear any difference or no?
For subs, most likely you won't hear a difference but for interior speakers than you might be able to hear a difference in the right conditions. JMO thought it might help.
