Thursday, February 01, 2007 - 19:42 GMT $200-$400 just for the subs. Are the two SSD's better than the Audioque or DD? Can someone rank them (1,2,3 order, 1 being the best)? Thanks

Thursday, February 01, 2007 - 19:50 GMT i assusme you dont want to run alot of power because you will spend alot in chargnign upgrades so what i would do is wait a month tops, till ascendant audio releses the new assassins and buy two of those and buy a kicker zx750.1

Thursday, February 01, 2007 - 20:01 GMT You are right, I want to upgrade the audio and nothing else. So if the suggestion requires new electrical stuff for power (i.e. alternator upgrade), I can't do it. I've been reading the board and have seen many ppl post Kicker isn't all that desirable as subs. Is it a different story with their amps? Thanks Mat Dope. I am really ignorant when it comes to the quality of subs or any other audio components for that matter. I am taking what you guys say as dang near gospel. Are there any other nice combos (amp/sub)such as the one you listed? Budget for amp, no more than $200 if I can help it, but I can go higher.

Thursday, February 01, 2007 - 21:22 GMT i just found out that the new AA line up wont be out for a few months however i have an assassin 12 i could sell you and im sure you could find one on another forum if you wanted more. they are great subs. also DD makes great subs so i would looking into possibly getting either 2 1012s or 1 2512 and put them on the kicker zx750.1 another thing that would be cheap but still great is audioque sd2.5 12s also on the zx750.1 i reccomend that kicker amp because its solid, resonably priced as well and is pretty efficant so you shouldnt need an upgraded alt.
