Thursday, February 01, 2007 - 04:18 GMT dont bother sanding unless your going to paint it. and make sure you mix the resin and the hardener correctly and work decently fast. once it starts to get goopy or chuncky your done. also, dont get it on yoru skin, or especially your hair. wear latex gloves.

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 01:23 GMT holy snit...1 gallon for only a 3cuft box? You dont need anywhere near that much man!!! A Pint of resin, some red dixie cups, and a few spreaders....thats all your need! Mix up ~1/3 cup of bondo at a time in a doubled cup w/ plenty of hardener. Pour it inside on 1 wall, and spread into a smooth layer. Be careful though, it will eat thru the cups. Mix it up good and pour it out quickly. I always buy and extra tube of hardener also...so i can use alil more than recommended and it will harden alil faster.

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 03:17 GMT ok i am finished resining my box! and canaan tell me about that was a waste of resin! i was told i needed a gallon so i got a gallon and mixed it all at once with the hardener. then kept putting layers till the bowl started clumping and i didnt even use half the gallon! i even poured some in corners. inside the port was a pain in the butt. its all dried and back in my car i can barely, barely tell a difference. but oh well it was a learning experience. DIYers rule!

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 03:21 GMT *note* DO NOT MIX ALL THE RESIN AND HARDENER AT ONCE!!! Mix up just enough for each wall in cups. Smooth it out...let it harden...go to the next wall. Do the corners last.

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 15:52 GMT from the start of this thread when whoever said get the gallon anyway i knew was an overkill. and i was going to mention to not mix it all cause it hardens to where its not usable faster than glue does but ya live ya learn.
