Tuesday, January 30, 2007 - 02:10 GMT Ive been runnin a 40hz port with 50sq. in. of port area and i ran a 35hz port with 40sq. in. port area before that rattled the door panels alot. So i was wanted to know what do u think my next port should be to be a "street beater" - the tuning and port area. I was thinkin like 28? with more port area? what does anyone else think? Car is 03 oldsmobile alero. Box around 3.7 cubes.

Tuesday, January 30, 2007 - 05:58 GMT I'd tune it around 32 hz. Picks up the best of the highs and the lows. Most of those subs pick up much lower frequencys then you tune them to. You can maintain good SQ tuned into the low to mid 30s.
