I think i blew the inline fuse on the power cable running to my amp. Any suggestions on what type of ANL fuse I should get that would be able to withstand as much as the btl has been eatting up like a fat kid loves cake? THanks for the help, much appreciated.

okay the sub doesn't determine what size fuse you need. you need to tell us what amp you have and its specs.

If it is an AGU fuse I think the max is 80a? I remember I couldn't find a larger than 80a but I bet yours is like a 60a..Polo..:-O

i searched ebay and i found some 80A and100A fuses. Some were platinum and others were gold-plated. Some were no name brands, or scorpion, audiopipe... any difference? whether a brand name or not?

Depends on there standards. Go with what your manufacture recommends current-wise, but most in the right range should suffice..Polo. :-)

While we are on the topic of fuses... im not sure of my inline fuse, well what that type is called, its just a flat 200A fuse... but i was wondering, i heard you can put fuses inline with the amp output to prevent your subs from blowing... but i never really got how that would work as different freq. use different amounts of power and all.
