Pre-drill all holes 4. Use 1-1/4" sheetrock screws (or similar) 5. Do not place a screw within 2 inches of the end of the board. 6. Use a new/sharp blade 7. TAKE YOUR TIME. Bout all I can think of in the morning.. good luck to you |

Bronze Member Username: Moey_gSydneyAustralia Post Number: 36 Registered: Oct-06 | My brother will be helping me with it so that should help alot. Is 16 millimetres thick enough for the MDF. That turns out to be 0.62 inches. Or should i pay a bit more to get the 18mm (0.7 inches) |
Bronze Member Username: Moey_gSydneyAustralia Post Number: 37 Registered: Oct-06 | Oh and should the wires for the sub just go through the port or is it better to drill a hole for them and then seal the hole off after i pass them through? |
Gold Member Username: WingmanaliveNj US Post Number: 2951 Registered: Jun-06 | Lol. Logan can comment on the wires. I would use terminals. Looks pro. |

Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana DD 9515d~~]... Post Number: 4104 Registered: Mar-04 | Get .75inch MDF |
Bronze Member Username: Moey_gSydneyAustralia Post Number: 39 Registered: Oct-06 | 18mm is closest to 3/4" so i guess il go with that. Oh and wat do you use to cut the hole for the sub. I used a jigsaw once to cut a hole for my speakers when i cut my parcel tray and that didnt come out too nicely lol. |
