Bronze Member Username: NkknutsonPost Number: 45 Registered: Dec-06 | do you need to use high density mdf or is med. ok? and how do you find the cuft? i know you have to subtract the sub's cuft but i have no idea on how to find the cuft |
Silver Member Username: WarlokOrlando, FL USA Post Number: 102 Registered: Dec-05 | Go High density. .. and dunno about the other stuff. |
Silver Member Username: Teddy21Ann Arbor, MI USA Post Number: 437 Registered: Feb-06 | cu ft is just what it says it is, you just multiply the three dimentions of the box and minus the volume of the port and subwoofer. (length x width x height) = Volume And MDF is what it stands for, Medium Density Fiberboard, this will work fine for any box you wanna build. You wanna get at least 3/4 inch in width though, the 1/2 inch mdf is kinda weak. |
