Gold Member Username: JohnfiacIL Afghanistan,... Post Number: 1094 Registered: Mar-06 | i can help a little.....prices not from DD directly..but from a good dealer im sure you would buy it from if you were getting it new... These are 15's The DVC 1ohms run a little more money then other standard configs.. DD9515 DVC 1ohm 645$ DD9915 DVC 1ohm 1040$ DD9915 DVC1.5 or DVC 2 960$ DD Z1 around 1350$ Prices may vary a little bit because when i priced it it was for 2 Z1's and 2 9915's but i decided to go with the 9500's instead... save me the other 2000$ in amps\power i would need for the second sub... not including the 2000$ i would need to spend on just the one sub to power it...not including price of sub either...expensive huh? Thats all i know... hope it helps |
Silver Member Username: KravenbloodOhio DD Z1 you wi... Post Number: 181 Registered: Aug-05 | i was told they don't have anymore z1 since there makeing a new model and i know who gave you the $1350 price lol probably same person that gave me that price... |
Gold Member Username: JohnfiacIL Afghanistan,... Post Number: 1104 Registered: Mar-06 | lol ya but for that price i think you can easily find a amp that will do the same if not more power.... as long as the thd isnt audible to the human ear or weaken the SPL, but im sure its a awesome amp. |

Silver Member Username: KravenbloodOhio DD Z1 you wi... Post Number: 182 Registered: Aug-05 | yeah but the new one i was told might do 6-7k rms at 1 ohm |
Silver Member Username: KravenbloodOhio DD Z1 you wi... Post Number: 183 Registered: Aug-05 | oh and theres just something about the ddz1 that makes me want it lol At 4ohms and 0.1% THD it was doing over 1750w. At 2ohms it was doing over 3550w @ 0.1% THD. This was in a recent magazine test by PAS Mag. thats part of it so the 3k rms at 1 ohm musta been conservitive lol |
Gold Member Username: JohnfiacIL Afghanistan,... Post Number: 1107 Registered: Mar-06 | But what voltage was the power supply? Most of those i have seen were at 14.5V, but also seen they handle more then that, the most ive seen (forget what forum) i think it was a DD forum actually, was at like 15.5V hard to maintain voltage like that... so unless you have a mean charging system i highly doubt you will get the 6-7K rms, but what i am not sure of is if it is actually stable for daily driving at 1ohm, as the website last time i looked only had specs for 2ohm. But all in all its a badass amp as long as its installed right, but deffinetly bad@ss for comps. |
Silver Member Username: KravenbloodOhio DD Z1 you wi... Post Number: 184 Registered: Aug-05 | yeah the ddz1 is rated at 3000k at 1 ohm on there site.. and im not sure what volyage that magazine tested it at thats just what dd said it ran |
