Saturday, January 20, 2007 - 18:52 GMT Its easier to tune, and with one board it would be tuned to like 50hz, it had to be longer.

Saturday, January 20, 2007 - 18:56 GMT Nate, because the port has to be a certain length to tune the box properly...thus the maze=that length

Saturday, January 20, 2007 - 21:00 GMT Rihard, Its a joke box. The last pic has a pack of cigs in it to get the size refrence. Its like some 3" or 4" mid speaker. The whole box is like 12" long x 5' wide. Just left over 3/4 mdf thrown together for a laugh.

Saturday, January 20, 2007 - 21:05 GMT nice boxes... question, if you were to instead of using the "maze", what if u were to make it an L shped port but with the same distance...like just have one piece goin down, then have the two other pieces of the maze be one longer piece? that make sense? would it be tuned the same as having multiple pieces?

Saturday, January 20, 2007 - 21:12 GMT Yes. But you would need a deeper box as opposed to longer.

Sunday, January 21, 2007 - 18:00 GMT Lol, Its still sitting in the same spot. I had no plans of trying it. But for you, I will let you know. Ill put it on the Zapco at LPF and give it 50watts. Should be interesting as the driver is a 8 ohm mid from a home speaker that I canabalized just to get the subs out to smoke em.
